Old-city coffee on Aviles Street — small-batch espresso, scratch brunch, and a courtyard worth lingering in.
Coquina is a small-batch coffee house and brunch café tucked into a coquina-stone building on Aviles Street. We roast our own beans a few blocks away, bake every pastry in-house before sunrise, and pull a weekend brunch service worth waiting for.
Reserve a courtyard table for the weekend rush, order catering for the office, or just wander in for a flat white and a window seat. However you take your morning, there's a place for you here.
Weekends fill fast. Reserve a table in the courtyard in a few taps and skip the wait — walk-ins always welcome too.

Fall 2026Limited timeEvery season we roll out a small, limited run built around what's in season. Here through November — then it's gone.
House maple syrup, toasted pecan, a dusting of cinnamon.
Nitro cold brew, real pumpkin cream cold foam.
Baked each morning, rolled in spiced sugar.
Roasted squash, brown butter, crisp sage.
From sunrise office drop-offs to private buy-outs of the whole café, our team handles the details so you can enjoy the morning.

Reserve the whole room for a shower, launch, or team offsite — the café and our team, all yours.
Marisol and Eli opened Coquina in 2021 with a single La Marzocco, a borrowed roaster, and the conviction that the oldest street in the country deserved a real neighborhood coffee house. Three years later we're still independent, still family-run, still in before sunrise.
We source seasonal single-origin beans and roast them in small batches so every cup tastes like the week it was roasted — never a warehouse shelf. Same baristas who learn your order, same cooks plating your eggs benedict, same faces every Saturday. That's the whole point.
Slow mornings, strong coffee, and a courtyard that always has room for one more.
